Finally!

So, I've been doing a LOT of screencapping over the last two weeks or so. Every episode of Press Gang, quite a few Doctor Who, Pride & Prejudice, Torchwood, ect. And guess what? I've made a whole lot of icons. Not very good, I'm afraid, but they're here.
Also, my NaNo entries going really well. When I started, it was a simple novel about teenagers and their relationships that was partially inspired by the masterpeice that is Press Gang. Now it's full of danger, undercover investigations that are almost camper than John Inman and a lot of romatic relationships, inspired by Press Gang. Ethel's still there though. And he's still as confused as ever.

They're great! All of them, but I particularly like the Press Gang (as ever! love the green phone stuff and some of the crops there) and Time and the Rani - yay, for Seven! :-)

You see, I love Time and the Rani. I don't understand all the hate. It's fun, and it introduces Seven, one of the best Doctors, I think.

It's an episode I've only seen snatches of, but I suspect I'll like it, too, for much the same reason. I think, probably, because at the time, fans were wanting something to tell them the show would be better, the new Doctor wouldn't be too comic... and they got spoon playing and Kate O'Mara dressing up as Bonnie Langford and it seemed like The End.

I didn't come in till a year or two later, but I think that's a lot of the reason for it.

...and it makes a lot of sense. Whereas I just love Kate O'Mara, Sylvester McCoy, and yes, even Bonnie Langford, and I just love the unintentional camp about it. But yeah, to an audience of that era, I see why it's became a running joke in the Who fandom.

Doesn't stop me from loving it though.

Before watching it I'd heard so much about it, mostly bad stuff, but it was fun and enjoyable, and that's what Doctor Who should be, in my opinion.
