Mary Isobel 'Mollie' Sugden, who played Mary Elizabeth Jennifer Rachel Yiddle Abergavenny Slocombe in the hit sitcom set in an aging London department store, passed away today after suffering a long illness (according to Wikipedia, which isn't a reliable source). Mollie was one of the best comedy actresses the world has ever seen, and will be missed dearly by comedy lovers around the world. May Mrs. Slocombe and her dear pussy rest in peace... and I am unanimous in that!
