I really love Joss Wheden. He makes some of the best television, Buffy and Firefly, for example, but I just couldn't get into Dollhouse. The show wasn't bad, as such, but I was expecting something as good as the aforementioned Buffy and Firefly. Alas, it was not.


Day 12 - An episode you've watched more than 5 times

THE UNICORN AND THE WASP


This episode was quite funny. And when I say 'quite', I mean incredibly. This episode really showed off David Tennant and Catherine Tate's wonderful chemistry and comic timing, and the story was strong. And the whole scene in the kitchen is quite funny. I could watch that all day.

Heh - I love The Unicorn and the Wasp! It was brilliant and got better on a rewatch. I haven't seen many New Who eps twice, but that one I've seen three times. :-)

I've never seen Dollhouse but heard similar things. I'm intrigued though, because it's hard to imagine a Josh Whedon show that's really bad as such...

I absolutely love The Unicron and the Wasp. It's the only New Who episode that I can keep watching and finding funny time after time. It's probably because it's so light and fun.

It is really hard to imaging a Joss Wheden show that's bad. Dollhouse isn't THAT bad, it's just that it's really hard to follow at times, and it's not as well constructed as his other shows.
